As I sit in my studio in Hamburg, surrounded by paintings that reflect hundreds of intimate moments shared with women, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey my art has taken me on. What started as a fascination with the female form has evolved into something far more profound, a space where women’s stories, strength, and vulnerability converge into powerful visuals.
Over the past three years, I’ve had the honor of painting more than 250 breasts. These paintings represent the voices and stories of the women who have posed for me. Each session is like a personal exchange, an offering of both body and narrative, and it’s through these moments that I’ve come to understand the complexity of what it means to celebrate womanhood.
There’s something incredibly therapeutic about painting. As the artist or the muse, there’s a transformation that occurs when you allow yourself to be seen. Many of the women I’ve worked have shared their personal experiences with me while posing. I often find that painting their breasts becomes a gateway to deeper conversations, about identity, sexuality, fears, empowerment and much more.
In my art, I’m interested in capturing the raw essence of a woman’s story, her energy, and the unique beauty she brings to the world. The breasts I paint are symbols of femininity, nurturing, and strength. Through these paintings, I strive to challenge the societal taboos and stigmas surrounding women's bodies, creating a dialogue that promotes self-acceptance and love.
Exploring our vulnerabilities helps us grow and encourages others to do the same. Through art, intuition, and shared stories, we find meaning and build deeper connections with the world and ourselves.
